PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) â€" Pittsburgh Tribune Review Columnist Dejan Kovacevic joined Joe Starkey, Josh Miller and Colin Dunlap on 93-7 The FAN to talk about the column he wrote today on the Pens which has been the talk of the town.

Dejan first broke down the team meeting that took place in which the players discussed a temporary captaincy while Sidney Crosby continues to sit out with his concussions.  Crosby was never made of that there was a meeting, and didn’t know about it until days later, and Dejan gave us his opinion on whether or not the players show of support at today’s practice was hypocritical given the meeting.

The idea of giving the captaincy temporarily to someone else does have a precedent given that Mario Lemieux had other players wear the “C” when he was out with back issues during his playing days.

There are still players in the locker room that aren’t happy with Sid and the lack of updates they receive on his condition, and Dejan elaborated on what that means, and how prominent these players are.
