Penn State's Tom Bradley Says Goodbye

With Bill O'Brien now firmly in place as the new head coach at Penn State, former defensive coordinator and interim head coach Tom Bradley wished fans goodbye with a tweet on Friday.

And so ends a 30-plus year career with the Nittany Lions that saw Bradley's defenses soar to the top of the national rankings almost yearly. In his final season, Bradley's unit finished No. 5 overall in points allowed per game at 16.8. The group kept Penn State's deficient offense, ranked No. 110 in points for at 19.3, in enough games for the Lions to earn a 9-4 record and share of the Big Ten Leaders Division title with Big Ten champion Wisconsin.

It's not clear where, exactly, Bradley will go from here. It'll be interesting to see if he picks up another job in the college ranks, or tries to move up to the NFL. A fantastic recruiter, the Johnstown native would likely be a good pickup for a lot of programs, so don't expect him to stay out of the game for long.
