NFL Playoff Schedule 2012: Divisional Round Begins In San Francisco

Minus the Pittsburgh Steelers, the 2012 NFL Playoffs continue Saturday and Sunday as teams enter divisional play. The four teams to survive Wild Card Weekend advance to take on the four teams who earned byes by virtue of finishing in the top two of their respective conferences.

The divisional round opens Saturday at 4:30 Eastern, with the New Orleans Saints visiting the San Francisco 49ers in a matchup of two 13-3 teams. FOX will broadcast that game nationally.

The scene shifts to Foxboro later that evening when Tim Tebow leads the Denver Broncos to Gillette Stadium to take on the New England Patriots at 8 Eastern. The Patriots crushed the Broncos, 41-23, in the only regular-season meeting between the teams. CBS will broadcast Saturday's rematch.

Sunday's action begins at M&T Bank Stadium, where the Baltimore Ravens host the Houston Texans at 1 Eastern on CBS. In the regular-season meeting between the teams, Baltimore dominated the second half en route to a 29-14 victory.

A Sunday showdown between the New York Giants and Green Bay Packers concludes the divisional round. FOX will cover that game, with kickoff set for 4:30 Eastern. The Giants nearly handed the Packers their first defeat of the season on Dec. 4, but Mason Crosby nailed a 30-yard field goal as time expired to lift Green Bay to a 38-35 win.

Saturday, Jan. 14

  • 4:30 PM: New Orleans Saints (NFC No. 3) at San Francisco 49ers (NFC No. 2), FOX

  • 8:00 PM: Denver Broncos (AFC No. 4) at New England Patriots (AFC No. 1), CBS

Sunday, Jan. 15

  • 1:00 PM: Houston Texans (AFC No. 3) at Baltimore Ravens (AFC No. 2), CBS

  • 4:30 PM: New York Giants (NFC No. 4) at Green Bay Packers (NFC No. 1), FOX
