Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison will not be fined for hits on the Denver Broncos' Tim Tebow and Eric Decker last Sunday in the team's NFL Wild Card matchup, according to Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk.
Harrison was penalized for roughing Tebow on one play and hit Decker on the knees in another one. The league office has apparently decided, however, that Harrison, suspended earlier in the season for a helmet-to-helmet hit on the Cleveland Browns Colt McCoy, was within the rules in making both plays.
And so, it would appear the book is finally closed on another season of fines and suspensions for Harrison.
