PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) â€" The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Ed Bouchette reports sources confirm that defensive coordinator Dick Lebeau will return next season.

Lebeau has been with the Steelers since 2004 â€" his second stint in Pittsburgh. His first stretch with the Steelers came from 1992-97 under former head coach Bill Cowher.

Lebeau’s defense has regularly been atop the league in several defensive categories. This year the Steelers finished first in scoring defense and passing defense.

There’s no word yet on whether or not offensive coordinator Bruce Arians will be back as well. Coach Mike Tomlin said Monday at his season-ending press conference that he’d like both Lebeau and Arians to return in 2012.
