PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) â€" Pittsburgh Penguins enforcer Steve MacIntyre was placed on waivers Wednesday afternoon.
He may be claimed by another team. If no team claims him by noon today the Penguins can assign him to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton if they choose to do so.
MacIntyre has played 10 games with no points and two penalty minutes.
