Pittsburgh Steelers' LaMarr Woodley Tweets News of "South Park" Appearance - Bleacher Report

LaMarr Woodley will have one of the coolest things in pop cultureâ€"a cameo in a South Park episode.

The Pittsburgh Steelers' linebacker tweeted out the news complete with something every South Park fan cravesâ€"an official animated character in his likeness.

Here is his proud tweet:

Boom.

As ESPN reports, there is no word on what the plot for the episode might be, so we just have to be patient until we find out what NFL-themed hi-jinx the kids get into.

There wasn't any indication of the plot line, but the Steelers lost to the Broncos in the playoffs last season and opened up the season in Denver this year. Several NFL players have appeared on South Park before and Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was mocked by the TV show in March 2010 after his off-the-field incident.

I could see just about anything playing into Trey Parker and Matt Stone's hands here. While Tim Tebow hype has died, Peyton Manning's first game triumph in Denver may play well with the native Colorado writers.

There was even the uproar over a Denver-area school forcing an 8-year old to take off his Manning jersey because of gang culture and what the No. 18 signified.

Really, there is a ton of things this episode could cover, and I welcome your suggestions in the comments section below.

For Woodley, he gets the coolest keepsake from his 6-year careerâ€"a beautifully, albeit poorly, crafted caricature of his likeness.
